Looking For Pharmacy Purchase Executive

we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive pharmacy purchase executive to manage our hospital’s pharmaceutical procurement operations. the ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of medicines, surgical items, and consumables while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and vendor compliance.

oversee end-to-end procurement of medicines, surgical consumables, and pharmacy supplies.

identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality products.

maintain optimal stock levels and monitor inventory to avoid shortages or excess.

coordinate with pharmacy, nursing units, and clinical departments to understand purchase requirements.

process purchase orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of items.

verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and coordinate with accounts for timely payments.

ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and regulatory standards.

track market trends, new product availability, and pricing updates.

maintain accurate documentation and reports related to purchasing, stock levels, vendor performance, and price lists.

handle vendor relationship management and resolve supply issues promptly.

graduate in pharmacy (m/m) or commerce/business administration preferred.

3–5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy procurement or medical supply purchasing.

strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, surgical items, and medical consumables.

experience with purchase/order management software or hospital erp systems.

good communication, negotiation, and vendor-coordination skills.

strong analytical and inventory management abilities.
