Urgent Requirement For Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Shift Management & Production Execution:

Plan, organize, and execute daily production schedules to meet target output quotas across assigned machines and assembly lines.

Allocate shop-floor manpower, operator stations, and shift duties based on skill matrix and daily workload requirements.

Monitor line speed, cycle times, machine efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) during shifts.

Quality Assurance & Process Control:

Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control plans, and technical product specifications.

Conduct regular line audits and in-process quality inspections to catch non-conformities early.

Minimize material wastage, rejection rates, and scrap generation through systematic process monitoring and operator guidance.

Maintenance & Shop-Floor Discipline:

Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine preventive maintenance, quick breakdown resolution, and tooling changes to minimize machine downtime.

Drive 5S principles, lean manufacturing practices, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the shop floor.

Enforce strictly Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and machine safety interlocks.

Reporting & Team Leadership:

Maintain daily shift logs, production entry sheets, raw material consumption records, and downtime reports in ERP/Tally or physical registers.

Conduct shift handover meetings, brief team members on safety/production goals, and address operational bottlenecks promptly.

Mentor, train, and evaluate machine operators and shop-floor helpers to enhance productivity and technical discipline.
