A Piston Manufacturing Company Production Head leads all manufacturing operations, optimizing production schedules, quality control, and resource utilization to meet delivery targets. They oversee shop floor performance, drive continuous improvement (lean manufacturing), ensure strict adherence to safety (OHSA) and quality standards (TS /ISO), and manage team performance, production costs, and equipment maintenance to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution: Develop and manage master production schedules to meet customer demand, coordinating with purchasing to ensure raw material availability.

Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with quality standards (., TS ) and maintain a safe working environment.

Efficiency Optimization: Drive productivity by identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste, and implementing process improvements.

Resource & Team Management: Supervise production staff, including training and mentoring supervisors/team leaders, and manage staffing to meet cost targets.

Equipment Management: Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.

KPI Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, cost, and quality to senior management.
