An Assembly Production Engineer optimizes, manages, and troubleshoots manufacturing assembly lines to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production. Key responsibilities include creating work instructions, designing assembly processes, troubleshooting equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and improving efficiency through lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development: Designing, evaluating, and implementing new manufacturing assembly processes, methods, and equipment.

Line Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing assembly workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and reduce waste (Lean Manufacturing).

Technical Documentation: Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assembly drawings, and technical documentation.

Troubleshooting: Identifying root causes of production bottlenecks or quality issues and implementing corrective actions.

Quality Control: Implementing quality controls, managing tooling, and ensuring finished products meet quality specifications.

Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations (., OSHA), ensuring a safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Collaboration: Working with manufacturing, design, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production schedules.
