Role Overview:
We are looking for a Placement Manager / HR Manager who acts as the primary link between the organization (usually a university or training center) and the professional job market. The core mission of this role is to ensure that students or job seekers are successfully matched with suitable employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
The role is multifaceted, blending relationship management with career coaching:
Corporate Relationship Management: Build and maintain a network of industry partners to secure job openings.
Candidate Preparation: Organize workshops on resume building, mock interviews, and soft skills training to enhance student employability.
Recruitment Logistics: Coordinate the end-to-end interview process, including scheduling, venue booking (auditoriums/labs), collecting feedback, and analyzing results.
Data & Analytics: Track placement statistics (average salary packages, placement rate) and report on program effectiveness. Monitor progress until job offers are received.
Negotiation: Act on behalf of candidates to negotiate job offers, employment terms, and eligibility criteria with potential employers.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience as a Placement Manager or HR Manager.
Experience in an EdTech company.
Experience working with junior specialists.
Strong objection-handling skills.
Structured and result-oriented mindset.
Professional proficiency with platforms such as LinkedIn, Wellfound, Naukri, etc.
Excellent business communication and professional correspondence skills.
Ability to conduct career consultations.
Ability to support motivation and help candidates overcome setbacks.
