The Perfume Blender or Perfume Bar Specialist is a creative and technical role responsible for crafting customized fragrances and managing operations at a perfume bar. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of fragrance notes, blending techniques, and customer interaction to deliver a personalized and luxurious experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perfume Blending or Batch Processing
€¢ Understand the art of blending essential oils with other ingredients to create perfumes.
€¢ Conduct consultations with customers to identify their preferences and offer appropriate fragrance.
€¢ Maintain detailed records for repeat orders and better customer experience.
2. Customer Experience
€¢ Provide a sensory experience by guiding customers through the process of creating their own perfumes.
€¢ Educate customers on fragrance families, top/middle/base notes, and scent longevity.
€¢ Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality and well-crafted blends.
3. Perfume Bar Management
€¢ Oversee the setup and smooth functioning of the perfume bar, including tools and raw materials.
€¢ Maintain cleanliness & organization of the blending station, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
€¢ Manage stock of essential oils, ethanol, and blending equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
4. Marketing & Promotions
€¢ Assist in organizing fragrance workshops or promotional events to attract new customers.
€¢ Educational Background:
€¢ Certification in Perfumery, Cosmetic Science, or Aromatherapy (Preferred but not mandatory).
€¢ Bachelor€™s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is a plus. Experience:
€¢ 2€“5 years of experience in fragrance blending, perfumery, or running a perfume bar. €¢ Hands-on experience with essential oils, aroma chemicals, and alcohol-based blends.
