we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven national sales manager (nsm) to lead our sales operations across india. the ideal candidate must have a proven track record in the orthopaedic implant industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the medical devices market.
key responsibilities:
1. develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve business goals.
2. lead, train, and manage a high-performing sales team across various regions.
3. build strong relationships with key stakeholders including surgeons, distributors, and hospital procurement teams.
4. identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.
5. collaborate with marketing, product, and regulatory teams to align on market strategies.
6. monitor competitor activity and adjust plans accordingly.
7. prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
requirements:
1. bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, or related field. mba is a plus.
2. minimum 15 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, with at least 10 years in orthopaedic implants.
3. strong network of orthopaedic surgeons and institutional buyers.
4. proven experience managing a sales team across multiple territories.
5. excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
6. willingness to travel extensively.
