Key Responsibilities:

€¢ Familiarize and implement the procedures as stated in the Project Manual

€¢ Project monitoring in a strategic manner. Ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations in the design and installation of MEP systems

€¢ Generate brief program with PM and meet project deadlines

€¢ Familiar with design of MEP, Promote energy efficiency and other sustainability issues

€¢ Ensure that all building services meet technical standard and local authority regulations

€¢ Liaise with service engineers & technicians, surveyors, architectural technologists and

other construction professionals

€¢ Must review & prepare plans, details, specifications, and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and general piping systems.

€¢ Provide technical advice to staff designers, supervisors, inspectors, and contracting service providers regarding the installation and maintenance of MEP systems.

€¢ Analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.

The MEP manager must identify problems in the design and planning and manage and deliver multiple projects.

€¢ Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
