Logistics Manager

Job brief:

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and despatches of goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

ï‚· Strategically plan manage and execute logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

ï‚· Ensure timely delivery of Products to Customers

ï‚· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

ï‚· Liaise and negotiate with Transporters, Shipping Agents, CHAs and Contractors

ï‚· Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

ï‚· Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods shipments to Indian Central Motor Vehicle Act and IMDG / IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

ï‚· Supervise and Organise Packing and shipments according to DGR Standards. Prepare Dangerous Goods Labels & Declarations in accordance with the IATA DGR Standards.

ï‚· Negotiate for a most efficient and cost-effective despatch of goods

ï‚· Should have sound knowledge and working experience on SAP and other Sales related commercial aspects.

ï‚· Oversee Storage, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments

ï‚· Resolve any arising problems or complaints

ï‚· Supervise, coach and train logistics workforce. Guide and assist the team members on DG Rules and Regulations, minimum/maximum quantities.

ï‚· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

ï‚· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

ï‚· Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Requirements and skills:

ï‚· Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager

ï‚· Record of successful Sales and logistics management

ï‚· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

ï‚· Proficient in SAP, Sales related commercials and MS Office tools.

ï‚· Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and organisational skill
