Leather Technician (Freshers) Surat

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimise finishing formulations (water-based PU, bio-based coatings, pigments, additives)

2. Work on surface performance: abrasion, flex, colour fastness, cleanability

3. Handle coating, spraying, printing, embossing, and colouring processes

4. Translate traditional leather finishing knowledge to plant-based substrates

5. Conduct and interpret mechanical & chemical tests (BIS/ISO standards)

6. Support sampling, trials, and scale-up to commercial production

7. Maintain SOPs, test reports, and technical documentation

8. Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve consistency and quality
