Key responsibilities:1. Develop and optimise finishing formulations (water-based PU, bio-based coatings, pigments, additives)2. Work on surface performance: abrasion, flex, colour fastness, cleanability3. Handle coating, spraying, printing, embossing, and colouring processes4. Translate traditional leather finishing knowledge to plant-based substrates5. Conduct and interpret mechanical & chemical tests (BIS/ISO standards)6. Support sampling, trials, and scale-up to commercial production7. Maintain SOPs, test reports, and technical documentation8. Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve consistency and quality
