- Perform initial consultations with patients to assess their fertility concerns and medical history. This involves gathering detailed information about the patient's reproductive health and conducting physical examinations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients undergoing fertility treatment, including prescribing medications, scheduling procedures, and providing guidance on lifestyle changes to improve fertility.
- Conduct fertility procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and egg retrieval. This involves performing the procedures, monitoring patients' progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Monitor patients throughout their fertility treatment, including tracking hormone levels, conducting ultrasounds, and providing emotional support and counseling.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including embryologists, nurses, and mental health specialists, to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing fertility treatment.
Required Skills and Expectations:
- Possess a Post Graduate Diploma, DM, or Doctorate of Medicine in a relevant field such as Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Have a minimum of 1-7 years of experience working in the field of infertility and reproductive medicine.
- Must be skilled in areas such as Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, and General Surgery to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing fertility treatment.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner to support patients through the emotional challenges of fertility treatment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment to provide the best possible care for patients.
