- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures: The consultant anesthetist will be responsible for administering the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure a safe and pain-free experience.- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures: It is crucial for the consultant anesthetist to continuously monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, to respond quickly to any changes and ensure patient safety.- Manage pain relief for patients post-surgery: The consultant anesthetist will be required to develop and implement pain management plans for patients post-surgery to minimize discomfort and promote a speedy recovery.- Collaborate with surgical team and healthcare professionals: The consultant anesthetist must work closely with the surgical team, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.- Provide pre-operative consultations and education: Offering pre-operative consultations to patients, explaining the anesthesia process, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have is essential for the consultant anesthetist.Skills and Expectations:- Current and valid medical license.- Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

- Perform initial consultations with patients to assess their fertility concerns and medical history. This involves gathering detailed information about the patient's reproductive health and conducting physical examinations.- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients undergoing fertility treatment, including prescribing medications, scheduling procedures, and providing guidance on lifestyle changes to improve fertility.- Conduct fertility procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and egg retrieval. This involves performing the procedures, monitoring patients' progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.- Monitor patients throughout their fertility treatment, including tracking hormone levels, conducting ultrasounds, and providing emotional support and counseling.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including embryologists, nurses, and mental health specialists, to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing fertility treatment.Required Skills and Expectations:- Possess a Post Graduate Diploma, DM, or Doctorate of Medicine in a relevant field such as Obstetrics and Gynecology.- Have a minimum of 1-7 years of experience working in the field of infertility and reproductive medicine.- Must be skilled in areas such as Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, and General Surgery to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing fertility treatment.- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner to support patients through the emotional challenges of fertility treatment.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment to provide the best possible care for patients.
