perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and fitting work on machinery and equipment in the deionized (di) water plant and steel plant areas.

handle installation, alignment, and dismantling of pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, and mechanical assemblies.

carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of di plant equipment such as:

pumps and motors

water treatment units

compressors and filters

cooling towers and pipelines

support in maintenance of mechanical systems, including conveyors, gearboxes, and utility systems.

maintain records of maintenance activities and assist in equipment inspection.

follow safety procedures and plant operational standards during maintenance work.

work closely with engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operation and minimum downtime.

🧰 required skills and knowledge:

strong knowledge of fitting, alignment, and mechanical assembly.

ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.

experience with industrial piping, valves, and pump systems.

familiarity with basic welding, grinding, and fabrication work is an advantage.

understanding of safety norms in industrial environments.

hands-on experience in maintenance of di or utility systems preferred.
