We are seeking a qualified and experienced MRI Radiographer to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. The candidate will operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, follow imaging protocols, maintain accurate records, and work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI examinations according to physician requests and approved imaging protocols.Verify patient identity, medical history, examination requirements, and consent before scanning.Screen patients for pacemakers, implants, metal objects, pregnancy, claustrophobia, allergies, and other MRI safety risks.Explain procedures clearly and help patients remain calm and comfortable.Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.Select appropriate coils, pulse sequences, imaging parameters, and scanning techniques.Operate MRI scanners, workstations, injectors, and related equipment safely.Review images for quality, accuracy, artefacts, and completeness before submission to the radiologist.Administer contrast media when authorised and monitor patients for adverse reactions.Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and emergency-response procedures.Maintain strict MRI-zone access control and prevent unauthorised entry.Recognise patient deterioration or medical emergencies and provide immediate assistance.Maintain accurate examination records, patient documentation, and contrast-administration details.Protect patient privacy and maintain the confidentiality of medical information.Perform routine equipment checks and report technical faults promptly.Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, anaesthetists, referring physicians, and support staff.Assist with sedated, paediatric, elderly, critically ill, or mobility-restricted patients when required.Participate in quality assurance, audits, training, and continuing professional development.
