-repairing, upgrading, updating and replacing computer software and hardware and networking systems

-Providing technical support to users

-Working with other technical staff to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure

-documenting customer support inquiries and resolutions

-enforcing IT best practices to prevent data breaches

-recommending strategies to improve the performance and security of computer and network systems

-maintaining security databases

-advising management on the adoption of new technologies
