job summary:

we're seeking an experienced import manager to oversee our international import operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and build strong supplier relationships.

responsibilities:

- manage import cycle, documentation, and customs clearance

- coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents

- negotiate favorable pricing and terms

- ensure compliance with import/export regulations

- monitor shipment schedules and resolve issues

- maintain records and prepare reports

requirements:

- 3-4 years of experience in import, preferably in packaging or manufacturing

- strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance

- excellent negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills

- proficiency in ms office and erp systems (desirable)
