Job Description

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee recruitment and hiring process: The Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing the recruitment process, from creating job postings to conducting interviews and selecting candidates that align with the company's values and goals.

2. Implement HR policies and procedures: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as create a positive work environment for employees.

3. Handle employee relations: Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner to maintain a positive work environment and strong relationships within the organization.

4. Manage performance evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations for employees to assess their progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement or growth.

5. Develop training programs: Work with department heads to identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Required skills and expectations:

- Strong communication skills: The Human Resource Manager should be able to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations: Understanding of labor laws and regulations in Canada is essential to ensure compliance and protect the rights of employees.

- Experience in recruitment and hiring: Previous experience in managing the recruitment and hiring process is necessary to attract and retain top talent.

- Ability to handle employee relations: The Human Resource Manager should have strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to address employee concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.

- Strong organizational skills: The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is crucial in this role.
