key responsibilities:

cleaning and sanitizing: perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, bathrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces in accordance with hospital protocols.

waste management: properly dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, following safety guidelines and regulations.

floor care: maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure a clean and safe environment.

inventory management: monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs to the supervisor.

patient interaction: interact courteously with patients and visitors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining patient confidentiality.

compliance: follow all health and safety regulations, infection control procedures, and departmental policies to ensure a safe environment.

emergency procedures: respond to emergency situations as directed, ensuring a quick and effective response to maintain safety and cleanliness.
