receptionist (hospital)
position overview:
responsible for managing front desk operations, patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and coordination between patients and departments. ensures professional communication, accuracy in data entry, and a welcoming environment.
key responsibilities:
greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors courteously.
handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
manage patient registration, opd/ipd data entry, and appointment scheduling in the hms.
maintain front desk records, appointment logs, and visitor entries.
coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and diagnostic departments.
handle cash transactions for registration or consultation (if required).
ensure confidentiality of patient data and adherence to hospital protocols.
technical skills:
proficiency in hospital management system (hms).
knowledge of ms office (word, excel).
basic computer and printer handling.
familiar with patient registration and billing modules.
qualification:
graduate in any discipline (preferred: bba, , or related).
1–2 years of experience in hospital front desk/reception.
