Job Summary

Skilled Hardware Engineer to manage and support the company's IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and end-user systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, system administration, and end-user systems while providing first-level SAP Business One support for manufacturing operations including Production, MRP, Inventory, and Warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware & IT Infrastructure Support

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.

• Manage user accounts, system access, and IT asset inventory.

• Install and configure Windows operating systems and business applications.

• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and procurement of IT equipment.

• Ensure proper backup and recovery procedures for end-user systems.

Network & Security Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network devices.

• Configure and maintain switches, routers, and network printers.

• Ensure endpoint security, antivirus updates, and compliance with IT policies.

• Support data backup and cybersecurity best practices.

SAP Business One Support

• Provide first-level support to SAP B1 users.

• Assist users in resolving SAP-related issues in Inventory, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance modules.

• Coordinate with SAP consultants for issue resolution and enhancements.

• Support SAP user creation, authorization, and basic administration.

• Assist in SAP data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Manufacturing IT Support

• Support production floor systems, barcode printers, scanners, and manufacturing terminals.

• Ensure uninterrupted availability of IT systems used in production and warehouse operations.

• Coordinate with departments to resolve system-related operational issues.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Basic knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1).

• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, networking, and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills

• Experience with barcode systems, production terminals, and shop-floor IT support.
