## **Job Description: Ground Operations Staff**

### **Position Overview:**

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented **ground operations staff** to manage and oversee airport ground activities, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and on time. This role involves close coordination with multiple teams, including flight crews, baggage handlers, security personnel, and airport authorities.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* **Aircraft Handling:** Supervise the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and catering supplies in compliance with weight and balance regulations.

* **Flight Coordination:** Ensure timely arrival, turnaround, and departure of aircraft by coordinating with air traffic control, ground handlers, and airline personnel.

* **Ramp Management:** Oversee ramp operations, including guiding aircraft to parking positions, monitoring refueling processes, and ensuring safety zones are maintained.

* **Communication:** Act as a key point of contact between the airline, ground service providers, and airport authorities to relay accurate flight information.

* **Safety Compliance:** Ensure strict adherence to all safety, security, and regulatory guidelines during ground operations.

* **Documentation:** Prepare and verify necessary flight documents such as load sheets, baggage records, and ground service reports.

* **Emergency Handling:** Respond promptly to operational issues, flight delays, or emergencies to minimize impact on service and maintain smooth operations.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure

* Good knowledge of aviation safety regulations and airport operations

* Familiarity with ground handling equipment and processes

### **Qualifications:**

* Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary); Graduation preferred

* Prior experience in airport ground operations or airline handling is an advantage

* Basic knowledge of aviation and aircraft turnaround procedures

* Proficiency in English and the local language

* Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays

* Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and high-activity environments
