passenger assistance: helping passengers check in, make reservations, rebook flights, and check in baggage

passenger guidance: escorting passengers to the boarding gate, pushing wheelchairs, and providing directions

baggage handling: loading and unloading bags and luggage, tagging them, and processing them

aircraft preparation: helping prepare the aircraft cabin for departure, including stocking meals, water, and refreshments

flight operations: coordinating the servicing of arriving and departing aircraft, and indicating taxi spots to pilots

customer service: answering questions, providing information, and helping passengers with inquiries about delayed or lost baggage

security: ensuring the safety and security of passengers at the airport

compliance: complying with regulatory requirements

ground handling staff work in shifts and play an important role in the daily operations of the airport. they should have excellent communication skills and a good command of the english language.
