• approach and engage members of the public in assigned locations (street, door-to-door, events, malls, campuses) to discuss the organisation’s mission, programmes, and impact.
• inspire individuals to sign up as donors, focusing on recurring monthly contributions or high-quality one-time gifts, and consistently meet agreed daily/weekly fundraising targets.
• communicate the cause clearly, handle objections, and answer questions, ensuring that potential donors feel respected and well-informed.
• accurately capture donor details on forms, tablets, or crm tools and ensure data confidentiality and compliance with internal policies and relevant laws.
• represent the organisation professionally by following scripts, brand guidelines, and ethical fundraising codes, including dress code and conduct in public spaces.
• participate in regular briefings, training, and feedback sessions to continuously improve product knowledge, pitch quality, and conversion rates.
• provide daily activity reports to the team leader/manager, including number of approaches, conversations, sign-ups, and any issues or feedback from the field.
• build positive relationships with teammates, site authorities (., mall or rwas), and other stakeholders at fundraising locations.
