Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vision and eye examinations.
Perform visual acuity and refraction tests.
Assess patients for common vision problems.
Prescribe and dispense spectacles and contact lenses as required.
Assist ophthalmologists during eye-care procedures when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
Assist with collection, handling, labeling, and processing of biological samples.
Support genetic and molecular laboratory procedures.
Perform basic laboratory testing and maintain proper documentation.
Assist with DNA/RNA extraction and sample preparation where applicable.
Maintain laboratory records and test reports.
Follow laboratory safety, quality-control, and standard operating procedures.
Assist in data entry and interpretation of laboratory/genetic test results under supervision.
