key responsibilities
lead the entire culinary operations, ensuring creativity, consistency, and excellence in all menus.
design innovative and cost-effective menus aligned with guest preferences and seasonal availability.
supervise and mentor sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen staff to build a motivated, high-performing team.
oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality to maintain brand standards.
manage inventory, vendor relations, and food costing to maximize efficiency and profitability.
ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
collaborate with the f&b and management team on events, banquets, and special dining experiences.
monitor guest feedback and continuously enhance the culinary offering.
prepare and control kitchen budgets, forecasts, and reports.
requirements
3+ years of proven culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
expertise in indian and international cuisines, with creativity in menu development.
strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a diverse team.
excellent knowledge of food costing, budgeting, and kitchen management practices.
ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
proficiency in kitchen management software, pos, and ms office.
culinary degree/diploma from a reputed institute preferred.
