Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure proper treatment of wastewater as per pollution control standards. The role also includes supervising plant operations, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth and safe plant functioning.
Roles & Responsibilities
💧 ETP Plant Operator Responsibilities:
1) Operate and monitor ETP plant equipment and systems.
2) Check water quality parameters.
3) Handle pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, and sludge systems.
4) Perform routine inspection and minor maintenance of equipment.
5) Maintain daily operational logs and reports.
6) Supervise daily operations of ETP plant.
📋 Requirements / Skills
1) Knowledge of ETP operations and wastewater treatment process.
2) Basic knowledge of plant equipment (pumps, motors, valves).
🎓 Education (Preferred)
ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Mechanical / Plumbing) OR
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering OR
Any technical qualification with plant experience
