Job Summary

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role plays a critical part in project bidding and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines

Coordinate with design and procurement teams for pricing inputs

Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate costs where required

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

Support tendering and bidding processes

Maintain estimation records and documentation

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

Proficiency in estimation tools and Excel

Good analytical and numerical ability

Effective communication and coordination skills
