job description: position: environmental engineer reporting to: head – safety and environment key purpose of the job : to assist head – safety and environment for compliance with various environmental acts and rules educational qualification / experience required : essential qualification (a) possesses a recognised be/btech or me/mtech in environmental engineering or msc. degree in environmental science has had a practical experience of working in a factory for a period of not less than two years skills and competency • hands on experience in environmental impact assessment, environment monitoring and management plan, environmental clearance and cte, cto etc. • knowledge on various environmental protection acts, guidelines prescribed by tnpcb and cpcb and other legal regulations concerned with environment management. • possess skills for liaising with pollution control board for obtaining necessary legal documents. • ms office, mis, presentation skill and hands on experience in sap is preferable. • good communication skills in english and tamil • ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external, statuary authorities and internal business stakeholders. experience/age : • 2 + years of experience in environment department in large chemical/petrochemical /fertilizer industry. • age : 25-35 years
