key responsibilities:

assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical panels, motors, drives, and control systems in tmt and ccm sections.

support the operation and upkeep of plc, scada, vfds, and automation systems.

monitor and maintain plant telecommunication systems (cctv, intercoms, pa system, data cabling, and network connectivity).

carry out preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize electrical and communication downtime.

work with cross-functional teams during breakdowns to ensure quick restoration.

maintain proper records of electrical maintenance, communication network health, and spare parts usage.

learn and apply modern energy-saving and reliability practices.

required skills & competencies:

strong fundamentals in electrical machines, power distribution, and control systems.

basic knowledge of telecommunication systems networking, cabling, and industrial communication protocols.

analytical and troubleshooting skills.

willingness to work in shift operations and industrial environment.

good teamwork and communication skills.

qualifications:

./ or diploma in electrical engineering or electronics & telecommunication engineering

freshers welcome; internship or project exposure in steel/rolling mill/industrial automation will be a plus.

key advantages (preferred exposure):

familiarity with cctv, intercom, fiber optics, and plant communication systems.

hands-on experience or training in industrial automation and control systems.

candidates from urban areas within 20 km radius of sinnar are strongly preferred.
