Dispatch Executive Job Description (Industrial/Logistics focus)

1. Core Purpose

To oversee the seamless flow of industrial goods (like oils, lubricants, or packaging materials) from the warehouse to the client, ensuring all safety and tax documentation is accurate.

2. Primary Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment: Verifying sales orders against physical stock to ensure the right grade of oil or material is being sent.

Documentation (Crucial): Preparing Tax Invoices, Delivery Challans, and E-Way Bills. In Nashiks industrial hubs (Ambad/Satpur), this often includes handling Lorry Receipts (LR).

Logistics Coordination: Booking transporters, negotiating freight rates for tankers or trucks, and tracking vehicle arrival/departure.

Safety Compliance: Ensuring that hazardous or industrial materials are loaded safely and labeled according to transport regulations.

Inventory Updates: Using software like Tally Prime, SAP, or MS Excel to deduct dispatched stock from the system.

3. Required Skills for this Industry

Technical: Proficiency in GST norms related to dispatch and E-way bill generation.

Communication: Fluent in Marathi and Hindi to coordinate with local drivers and laborers, and English for professional emails.

Physical Oversight: Occasional visits to the loading bay to supervise the manual loading of drums or pallets.
