DevOps Trainer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Trainer to join our team as an independent contractor. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with delivering remote training sessions to a diverse group of participants. A key aspect of your responsibility will be your ability to flexibly conduct classes in alignment with US time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:

- Design and update a comprehensive DevOps curriculum that caters to a global audience, with a focus on the latest industry trends and practices.

- Ensure the training material is relevant and applicable to a diverse range of learners.

2. Training Delivery:

- Conduct engaging, interactive virtual training sessions, primarily scheduled to suit US time zones.

- Use real-world examples and case studies to enhance learning experiences.

3. Content Maintenance:

- Regularly update training content to reflect the evolving landscape of DevOps technologies and methodologies.

- Engage with the latest trends and advancements in the field to keep the curriculum at the forefront.

4. Firsthand Labs and Projects:

- Develop practical labs and project-based learning experiences that simulate real-world DevOps scenarios.

- Guide and mentor participants through these firsthand sessions, providing expert insights and feedback.

5. Assessment and Evaluation:

- Create and administer assessments to evaluate participant learning and progress.

- Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to assist in learner development.

Time Zone Consideration:

- Flexibility to schedule and conduct training sessions during US hours.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching DevOps-related courses.

- Proven expertise as a DevOps practitioner with firsthand experience in tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, etc.

- Effective communication, capable of delivering virtual training effectively
