create designs standard and custom for new products, or modify existing ones as per requirement

develop, implement, and maintain company-wide cad standards and best practices for both autocad (2d drafting) and catia (3d modeling, surfacing, and assembly).

collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

test designs for safety, usability, and environmental impact

analise data from tests and identify areas for improvement

perform quality control checks and review designs and drawings to ensure accuracy, legibility, and adherence to company and industry standards.

manage cad software licenses, configurations, and upgrades, and provide technical support to the design team.

stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cad technology and industry trends to recommend and implement new tools or processes.

translate project requirements into detailed design plans and delegate tasks to the appropriate team members.

manage project documentation, version control, and file archives.

troubleshoot and resolve design and technical issues that arise during projects.

provide input on budgeting for the design department, including hardware, software, and training.

contribute to business development by showcasing the team's capabilities and providing technical expertise for proposals.

assist in the hiring process for new design team members.

maintain accurate and organized drawing files and project documentation.
