• designing a functional mechanical model by collaborating with the team regarding the creation of innovative design concepts

• providing technical support during assembly and installation of equipment

• creating 3d model using software like solidedge, nx, solidwork, creo.

• creating detailed dimensional 2d cad models along with necessary tolerances from the 3d models.

• produce standard designs using cad software and create assembly prints, mechanical drawings, and fabrication specifications

• creating design bill of material of the components in the model

• modify designs to correct operating and production issues.

• discuss with suppliers, clients, and project heads to review designs and alter as needed.

education and experience requirement:

• bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

• minimum of two years of experience in 3d design modelling and 2d cad drafting.

• strong computer skills with proficiency in 3d modelling software like solidedge/ nx/ solidwork/ creo

• knowledge on the structural analysis software like ansys.

• effective documentation, presentation, and composition skills

• certification in any of the above-mentioned 3d modelling software

• experience with sheet metal designing will be an added advantage.
