Mechanical Designer job role specification Designing a functional mechanical model by collaborating with the team regarding the creation of innovative design concepts Providing technical support during assembly and installation of equipment Creating 3D model using software like Solidedge, NX, Solidwork, Creo. Creating detailed dimensional 2D CAD models along with necessary tolerances from the 3D models. Produce standard designs using CAD software and create assembly prints, mechanical drawings, and fabrication specifications Creating design Bill of Material of the components in the model Modify designs to correct operating and production issues. Discuss with suppliers, clients, and project heads to review designs and alter as needed.Education and experience requirement: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Minimum of two years of experience in 3D design modelling and 2D CAD drafting. Strong computer skills with proficiency in 3D modelling software like Solidedge/ NX/ Solidwork/ Creo Knowledge on the structural analysis software like Ansys.
