Design Engineer (2-5 Years)

Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial and heavy machinery, equipment, and components.

Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.

Prepare fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.

Select suitable materials, components, bearings, shafts, gears, fasteners, etc. based on design requirements.

Perform basic design calculations for shafts, structures, plates, conveyors, drives, etc.

Review drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documents.

Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and project teams for smooth manufacturing.

Support troubleshooting and modification of existing machines and equipment.

Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Maintain proper revision control and design documentation.

Required Skills

Diploma/./ in Mechanical Engineering.

Good knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD software.

Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, and mechanical components.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.
