As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering and updating data into computer systems and maintaining high levels of data quality and integrity. You will work with various types of information, including text, numerical data, and other forms of data, ensuring that it is entered with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry:Inputting and updating data into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.

Verifying accuracy of data by comparing it with source documents.

Quality Assurance:Checking completed work for errors or duplicate information.

Resolving discrepancies in data and reporting any anomalies.

Data Maintenance:Regularly updating and maintaining databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Performing routine data clean-up activities.

Confidentiality:Handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Documentation:Creating and maintaining proper documentation for data entry procedures.

Recording changes to databases, ensuring an audit trail for data modifications.

Communication:Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve data-related issues.

Reporting any anomalies or challenges in data entry processes.

Time Management:Meeting deadlines for data entry tasks.

Managing workload efficiently to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role.

Proficiency in data entry software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of data entry best practices.

Familiarity with specific industry-related terminology and data.

Typing speed and accuracy.

Typing Speed maximum. 35 to 40 WPM
