Urgent Requirement For Costing Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Costing Engineer to join our team in Sawantwadi, Pune. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and a diploma in engineering or a related field.

As a Costing Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and estimate the costs associated with projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are accounted for accurately. You will review project specifications and collaborate with various departments to gather the necessary information for cost estimation. Evaluating material costs, labor, overhead, and other expenses is crucial to providing comprehensive cost analyses.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost breakdowns for project proposals, monitoring ongoing project costs to identify discrepancies, and working closely with project managers to provide financial insights throughout the project lifecycle. You will also update pricing databases and conduct cost-benefit analysis to recommend cost-saving measures.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates. Proficiency in costing software and Microsoft Excel is essential. Effective communication skills are required, as you will interact with team members from different departments. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a strong understanding of engineering principles are also expected.
