Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in food preparation: Help in preparing ingredients, cutting, chopping, marinating, and other basic food preparation tasks.
2. Cook dishes: Assist in cooking and preparing a variety of dishes as per the recipes provided by the head chef.
3. Operate kitchen equipment: Handle kitchen equipment such as stoves, grills, ovens, and other appliances safely and efficiently.
4. Maintain cleanliness: Keep workstations, kitchen, and equipment clean and sanitized to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
5. Follow recipes: Strictly follow recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality.
6. Assist in kitchen inventory: Support in checking and maintaining stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Basic cooking skills: Should have a good understanding of cooking techniques and common kitchen practices.
2. Knowledge of Indian cuisine: Familiarity with Indian cooking methods and flavors, especially Tandoori cooking.
3. Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail while preparing dishes.
