Overall Role

The CEO is the head of the Farmer Producer Company, responsible for day-to-day management, business growth, and farmer welfare.

Works under the Board of Directors (BoD) and implements their decisions.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic & Business Planning

Prepare and implement business plans for maize (makka) production, aggregation, and marketing

B. Farmer Mobilization & Capacity Building

Mobilize farmers into Farmer Interest Groups (FIGs) and increase membership

Promote share capital contribution from farmers

Conduct training and awareness programs under MMM

C. Procurement & Marketing

Organize collection, aggregation, and storage of maize

Develop market linkages (mandi, traders, companies, exporters)

Ensure better price realization for farmers

Identify new business opportunities and value addition activities

Ensure profitability and sustainability of the FPC
