Job Description

As Business Development Manager Of A Region Of VCPL Under The Payroll Of Industrial Distributor, The Incumbent:

Formulate Business Plan For Their Territory And Roll Out Sales Strategies To Improve Its Market Share And Enhance Revenues.

Analysing Competitor Strategies And Formulating Sales Plan.

Will Be Closely Interacting With VCPL Distributor And Area Manager For Order And Timely Payment Collection From Secondary Customers.

Promote Focus Products In All Customers And Improve Product Mix To 10% Of Total Sales

Conduct 1 Product Trial Per Quarter By Each BDM

Assist VCPL AM In Conducting Safety Surveys/Camps And Technical Seminars For Site/Plant

Create Awareness On Best Maintenance Practices And Storage And Handling Practices In All Customer Sites.

Identify Competitor Product Application And Replace Them With VCPL Product Equivalent.

Takes Overall Responsibility For Product Trial And Oil Sampling And Other Services At Customer Site/Plant. Ensures Adherence To Product Trials And Oil Sampling Policies.

Use Safety Kit Mandatorily While Visiting Industrial Plants & Mining Sites

Conduct 1 Lube Survey Every Month By Each BDM

Ensure 24 Hrs Per Week Customer Facing Time And Visit All The Customers Twice In A Month

Generate 30 Lead Every Month Ensure Conversion To Sales Within 60 Days(At Least 50 % Customers)

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating, Following Up And Reviewing The Implementation Of The Sales Plan.

Be Responsible For Carrying Out The Plan, To Achieve The Agreed Objectives In The Short Term And To Ensure That The Business Strategy Is Achieved In The Medium Term.

Managing, Controlling And Evaluating The Customers, To Give The Necessary Support And To Grand Maximum Market Share.

Expanding The VCPL Customer Base In The Region, To Contribute To The Revenue Target. Identifying And Active Searching For New Prospects, Analyzing Sales Potential And Work Out Sales Activities.

Gaining Expertise Of The Functioning And Advantages Of The Products To Have The Abili
