Role Purpose
The AM / Manager – Business Development (Projects) will be responsible for driving regional project sales by generating new business opportunities and managing key accounts. This role focuses on execution-driven project selling, relationship management with architects, consultants, developers, and contractors, and contributing to revenue growth through active pipeline development and closures.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
Identify and generate new project-based business opportunities within the assigned region.
Develop and maintain a healthy project sales pipeline.
Achieve assigned sales targets through active lead conversion and follow-ups.
Key Account Management
Manage relationships with architects, lighting consultants, PMC’s, developers, corporates, and contractors.
Ensure repeat business through consistent engagement and solution-oriented selling.
Coordinate with decision-makers and influencers to ensure brand preference in projects.
Project Sales Execution
Handle the end-to-end project sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
Coordinate with internal teams including design, R&D, production, and supply chain to support project requirements.
Support execution and ensure smooth handover post order finalization.
Market & Industry Understanding
Track regional market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.
Share market feedback with management for continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5+ years of experience in project sales within lighting, sanitary, interior, or glass industries.
Strong exposure to project sales and key account handling.
Established network with architects, consultants, developers, and project stakeholders.
Good negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Hands-on, target-driven, and execution-focused approach.
Education: Graduate (Electrical / Illumination preferred); MBA is an added advantage.
