Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships within the metals and minerals sector. The ideal candidate should have deep industry exposure and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the steel and allied industries
Manage and expand relationships with existing clients and key accounts
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities
Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless execution
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Key Requirements
MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification
10-12 years of experience in steel, ferro alloys, dolomite, or related industries
Strong network within steel plants, traders, and industrial buyers
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Willingness to travel extensively for business development
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of industrial raw materials and supply chain dynamics
Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
