the role of a business development executive is to assist the organisation sales and growth efforts
by contributing to new customer acquisition. he/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new
clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. the
primary role and responsibilities of a business development executive include:
• proven work experience in business development or software sales & familiar with target
based sales.
• hands on daily sales execution, including marketing requirements.
• build and maintain customer relationships, identification of business opportunities,
negotiating and closing business deals.
• the role requires significant interaction with clients / prospects via remote collaboration tools
or face to face as needed.
• maintaining sales pipeline, including finding sales leads opportunities both from within and
outside
• delivering proposals and presentations to prospects, and negotiating and closing business
deals
• providing updates on sales leads to senior management
• commercial awareness of mobile and digital products, and cloud saas
• must be willing to travel to assigned locations in india and abroad.
• keep prospective client database updated
• make cold calls for new business leads
• support in writing new business proposals
• maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
