Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Exports with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in export sales or international B2B business development. The role is execution-focused and revenue-oriented, supporting buyer acquisition, order conversion, and export execution from enquiry to shipment.
This role is based strictly out of our Vadodara office and requires hands-on coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and international buyers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Support
Handle inbound international enquiries from LinkedIn, website, and trade references
Follow up with buyers, understand requirements, and coordinate quotations
Support conversion of enquiries into confirmed export orders
Maintain structured follow-ups and buyer communication records
Export Order Coordination
Coordinate with sourcing, QA, documentation, and logistics teams for smooth execution
Track export consignments from order confirmation to dispatch
Assist in preparing export documentation and shipment readiness
Buyer Relationship Management
Communicate professionally with overseas buyers (email, calls, WhatsApp)
Support repeat orders and long-term account development
Ensure timely updates to buyers on sampling, production, and shipment status
Internal Reporting & Discipline
Maintain CRM or internal trackers for leads, orders, and shipments
Report weekly on pipeline, conversions, and shipments executed
Work closely with management to improve sales processes and buyer onboarding
Compensation & Incentives
Fixed Salary: Competitive and aligned with experience (discussed during interview)
Performance-Based Sales Incentive:
Incentive linked to each export consignment successfully executed
Bonus calculated on per-shipment or per-order basis, based on value and margin
Clear incentive structure to be shared at the time of offer
This role offers direct earning upside linked to actual exports, not just enquiries.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on export experience (mandatory)
Prior experience in Spices, Herbs, or FMCG exports is compulsory
Proven exposure to international B2B buyers and export order execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Practical understanding of export processes, documentation, and buyer expectations
Ability to work from Vadodara office (on-site) — no remote or hyb
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience dealing with buyers from USA, EU, or Middle East
Familiarity with Incoterms, basic export documentation, and logistics flow
CRM usage or structured sales tracking experience
High follow-up discipline and execution mindset
