the security / bouncer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure hospital environment by ensuring vigilance, crowd control, access management, and quick response to emergencies. the role demands alertness, physical fitness, discipline, and adherence to hospital security protocols to safeguard patients, staff, visitors, and assets.

key responsibilities

monitor hospital premises through physical patrols and cctv surveillance.

control entry and exit points, verifying id cards, visitor passes, and staff movement.

maintain decorum and prevent unauthorized access or disturbances within hospital premises.

provide assistance in managing opd, casualty, and emergency crowd flow.

ensure protection of hospital property, equipment, and confidential areas.

escort high-risk patients, vip visitors, and hospital assets as instructed.

respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and code situations (code red, code blue, etc.).

report security breaches, thefts, or unusual activities to the security officer / administrator.

assist in patient or visitor conflict management with professionalism and composure.

support evacuation and safety drills in coordination with fire and safety teams.

maintain daily security logs, handover notes, and incident reports accurately.
