Job Title: Block Coordinator Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Department Social Welfare Reports To: District Coordinator / Program Manager Job Type: Full-time / Contractual / Project-based

🛠️ Job Summary: The Block Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and monitoring project activities at the block level. The role ensures smooth coordination between various stakeholders, including local government bodies, community members, and district teams, to achieve program objectives effectively.

📋 Key Responsibilities: Implement project activities as per the guidelines at the block and village levels

Coordinate with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), government officials, and community leaders

Facilitate community mobilization and awareness campaigns

Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation and provide support

Prepare and submit block-level progress reports and documentation

Organize training, meetings, and capacity-building sessions for staff and beneficiaries

Ensure timely data collection, verification, and reporting to the district office

Resolve field-level challenges and escalate critical issues

Maintain records, registers, and documentation in accordance with program requirements

Act as the primary point of contact for all block-level operations

🎯 Eligibility & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification preferred for some programs)

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in field-level implementation or coordination work

Familiarity with government schemes, rural governance, and community engagement

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and report writing

Ability to ride a two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively in the block area

Local residency or knowledge of the local language and culture is an advantage

🌟 Desirable Attributes: Leadership and team coordination skills

Problem-solving attitude and adaptability

Experience with NGOs, SHGs, or government projects is a plus
