job summary:
studycups is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated business development executive to drive growth by connecting with prospective mba students, building strategic partnerships with educational institutions, and expanding our client base. this role offers excellent learning opportunities in the education industry with direct exposure to sales, marketing, and counseling processes.
key responsibilities:
lead generation & client acquisition:
identify and generate qualified leads through online channels, social media platforms (linkedin, instagram), referrals, and college outreach programs
reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, and whatsapp to explain studycups' mba counseling services
schedule and conduct counseling sessions to convert leads into enrolled clients
achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for student enrollments
market research & analysis:
conduct market research to understand mba aspirant needs, competitor offerings, and emerging education trends
analyze competitor strategies and identify new business opportunities
relationship management:
build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, coaching centers, and college placement cells for partnership opportunities
maintain accurate records of client interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in crm systems
provide excellent customer service and post-enrollment support to ensure client satisfaction
marketing & promotion:
collaborate with the marketing team to create effective lead generation campaigns and social media content
assist in developing sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials for client meetings
participate in education fairs, webinars, and networking events to promote studycups
required qualifications:
education:
bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or related field (mba students/graduates preferred)
skills:
excellent verbal and written communication skills in english and hindi
strong persuasion, negotiation, and presentation abilities
proficiency in microsoft office suite (excel, powerpoint, word) and crm tools
self-motivated with a target-oriented and result-driven mindset
ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
preferred qualifications:
knowledge of the education sector and mba admission process
prior experience in sales, business development, or education counseling (added advantage)
familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
