Job Summary
The Air Ticketing Staff is responsible for assisting customers with flight bookings, ticket issuance, and providing exceptional service throughout the ticketing process. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of airline policies, and proficiency in reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers with inquiries about flight options, ticket pricing, and travel packages.
Ticket Issuance: Process ticket reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
System Management: Utilize airline reservation systems and software to manage bookings and ensure data accuracy.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues related to ticketing, including refunds, cancellations, and schedule changes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with customers.
Collaboration: Work closely with airline representatives and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any discrepancies.
Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with airline policies, fare structures, and travel regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
Sales Support: Promote additional services, travel insurance, and other travel-related products to customers.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, travel, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in ticketing, reservations, or customer service preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in computer systems and ticketing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Certifications: IATA certification is an advantage.
Working Conditions
Full-time position, may require weekend or holiday shifts.
