Key Responsibilities
Airport Ground Staff handle passengers and support airline operations on the ground. Their duties include:
Assisting passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and arrival areas
Verifying travel documents such as tickets, passports, and visas
Issuing boarding passes and baggage tags
Coordinating with cabin crew and airline staff for timely boarding
Assisting passengers with special needs, elderly travelers, and unaccompanied minors
Handling customer queries, complaints, and providing accurate flight information
Managing lost and found baggage and coordinating with the baggage handling team
Ensuring compliance with airport security and safety regulations
Supporting smooth departure and arrival of flights
Maintaining professional behavior and airline service standards
Skills & Requirements
Good communication skills in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus)
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Calm attitude under pressure and problem-solving skills
Basic computer knowledge
Pleasant personality and professional appearance
Educational Qualification
Minimum: 10+2 (any stream)
Graduation preferred (but not mandatory for entry-level roles)
Physical Requirements
